DEMING – Here’s the recent local arrest report. Information provided by the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center. All persons mentioned in today’s report are to be considered innocent until found guilty by a court.
David Garcia 40, was arrested for breaking and entering a residence in the 500 block of South Gold. Ruben Chavira 39, was arrested on a Deming Municipal court warrant for failure to appear… Ivan Escudero 40, was arrested for unlawful use of a license and a driving violation… Glenn Farnsworth 63, from Los Ranchos NM, was arrested for aggravated DWI… Roland Padilla 28, was arrested for aggravated battery on a household member and on an Adult Probation and Parole warrant for probation violations…
Reyes Becerra 38, was arrested after Deming officers observed him walking on 8th street. The officers were aware that he had Deming Municipal Court warrants and stopped him. He was arrested and charged with five Deming Municipal Court warrants, two for failure to appear, and three for failure to pay fines. A baggie of methamphetamines was found on him during the arrest resulting in charges of possession of a controlled substance and also possession of drug paraphernalia.

John Navarro 18, arrested on two Luna County Magistrate Court warrants both for failure to appear in court.
