Jose Jesús Barrera, 59, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.
Jose was born on June 6, 1965 in Las Cruces Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Prisciliano Barrera and Guadalupe (Flores) Barrera.
He is survived by his mother; two sons, Luis Carlos Barrera and his wife Kerena, and Fabian Barrera both of Deming, NM; three daughters, Cynthia Millen and her husband John of San Diego, CA; Stephanie Delgadillo and her husband Edgar of Rio Rancho, NM and Valeria Barrera and her husband Abraham of Deming, NM; two brothers, Flavio Barrera and his wife Araceli and Elder Barrera; two sisters, Imelda Barrera and Gardenia Barrera; life long partner and mother of his children, Alma Ivonne Gomez and their six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 12noon-1pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 1pm with Pastor, Obed Rivera and Luis Carlos Barrera officiating. Concluding services with an interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Luis Carlos Barrera, Fabian Barrera, John Millen, Edgar Delgadillo, Abraham Alvarado and Sebastian Barrera.
