DEMING – Deming Public Schools is inviting parents and guardians of Memorial Elementary students to play an active role in the selection of the school’s next principal by participating in an online survey.
As part of the district’s commitment to community involvement and transparency, a brief survey has been launched to collect feedback on the attributes, priorities, and leadership qualities families value most in a new campus leader. Officials say the survey is a vital step in ensuring the selection process reflects the needs and expectations of the Memorial Elementary community.
“This is an opportunity for parents to have a direct voice in shaping the leadership of their child’s school,” Deming Public Schools stated in its announcement. “We want to ensure the next principal not only has the qualifications but also reflects the values and goals of the families we serve.”
Parents are encouraged to complete the survey by Thursday, May 15, 2025. The responses will be carefully reviewed and considered by the selection committee before final interviews take place.
