Inspira Youth Center Opens in Palomas to Support Youth Development

DEMING – Border Partners celebrated a major achievement this week with the grand opening of the “Inspira” Youth Center in Puerto Palomas, just across the U.S.-Mexico border from Luna County. The center is designed to empower local youth through skill-building, creativity, sports, and personal growth opportunities.

The Monday ribbon-cutting brought together school leaders, city officials, and Border Partners supporters, all instrumental in making the center a reality. Guests enjoyed a flag ceremony presented by the Secondary School honor guard, a student dance performance, and the introduction of the center’s enthusiastic new instructors.

The Inspira Youth Center will serve as a hub for connection, learning, and development, offering activities and mentorship aimed at helping youth thrive in their communities.

Border Partners extended thanks to educators, parents, civic leaders, and especially the young people who brought energy and purpose to the celebration. They also acknowledged their donors and supporters for continuing to fuel their mission.
