Luna County to Unveil New Technical Training Programs at Town Hall

DEMING – Luna County officials will hold a town hall meeting on Wednesday, May 28, at 5:30 p.m. in the Luna County Commission Chambers at 700 South Silver Avenue to announce a major shift in technical education at the Mimbres Valley Learning Center.

The new initiative, developed by the county, will introduce hands-on training and certification opportunities in high-demand trades. The goal is to strengthen workforce development and stimulate local economic growth.

“This is about preparing our residents for the kinds of careers that are truly in demand, a county representative said. The County is thrilled to share the exciting news when they have the ‘big reveal’ next Wednesday.”

The public is invited to attend and be among the first to learn about the re-imagined programming at the county-owned learning center. Virtual attendance will also be available by visiting www.lunacountynm.us.
