School Choice Applications Open May 26 for Deming Public Schools
DEMING – Deming Public Schools has announced that School Choice applications for the 2025–2026 school year will be available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal from May 26 through June 6.
Parents or guardians who wish to request enrollment at an elementary school outside their assigned boundary zone must submit a School Choice application within that window. All students must first be registered at their boundary school before a School Choice request can be submitted.
Key reminders include:
- Pre-K families must submit a new application each year.
- K–5 students with a previously approved School Choice do not need to reapply.
- No applications will be accepted for Bataan Elementary, as it has reached full capacity for the upcoming year.
Parents can find the application under More > School Choice in the Campus Parent Portal. Only one ranked choice is required. Email notifications will be sent regarding approval or denial. For timely processing, families are asked not to call for status updates.
