Marissa Marie Ochoa, 38, a lifelong resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Casa de Oro in Las Cruces, NM.
Marissa was born on May 6, 1987 to Mike Gonzalez Ochoa and Ida Muñoz.
She is survived by both of her parents; one daughter, Athyna Love Nevarez of Kansas; two brothers, Mike Ochoa Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Adam Ochoa and his wife Laura of Las Cruces, NM; two sisters, Melissa Ochoa of Deming, NM and Christina Moreno and her husband Tony of Phoenix, AZ; five nephews, Ethen, Eli, Uriah, Andrew “Papa” and Kenzo; four nieces, Alina, Emma, Ali and Carolina; and her maternal grandmother, Gloria Muñoz.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carlos and Aurora Ochoa and her maternal grandfather, Jesus “Chuy” Muñoz.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 8:30-9:30am at Terrazas Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will then begin at 10am at CitiLife Church with Pastor Cesar Chavez officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Mike Ochoa Sr., Mike Ochoa Jr., Adam Ochoa, Ethen Ruiz, Eli Ochoa and Tony Moreno. Honorary pallbearers are Uriah Ochoa, Andrew “Papa” Brannan and Kenzo Moreno
