DEMING – Deming Public Schools will once again host the Deming Mariachi Summer Camp, running June 16th through June 27th, Monday through Friday. The camp is open to all incoming 6th through 12th grade students, offering music and dance instruction for both beginners and advanced performers.
Campers will receive hands-on training in mariachi instruments such as violin, trumpet, guitar, vihuela, guitarron, harp, and voice, along with baile folklorico dance. Activities include group lessons, rehearsals, team building, and performance preparation.
Registration, instrument rental, and meals are free to all participants. Lunch will be provided daily through the Summer Lunch Program.
