DEMING – The Deming-Luna County Humane Society is urging the public to help find loving homes for several rescued dogs recently brought to the Deming Animal Shelter. The dogs were removed from a hoarding situation outside Luna County, where they were primarily used for breeding. Now spayed, neutered, and fully vaccinated, these pups are slowly adjusting to their new environment and are described as affectionate, full of personality, and eager for companionship.

Shelter staff encourage potential adopters to visit and sit by the kennels to observe the dogs’ behavior and begin bonding. To help with placement, adoption fees have been reduced by half—a significant incentive for those willing to provide a safe and caring home.

The Deming Animal Shelter is located at 2135 Onate Road SE in Deming. For more information, call (575) 546-2024 or visit the Deming-Luna County Humane Society Facebook page.
