Local Arrest Report for Tuesday June 24, 2025

DEMING – Here is your local arrest report for today

Information provided by the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center.
All persons named are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Leoni Andres Martinez-Padilla, age 23, of Deming, was arrested on June 19, 2025. He is charged with unlawful use of a license while revoked, expired registration, and failure to exhibit a license on demand.
  • Joseph Asarisi, age 45, of Deming, was arrested on June 19, 2025, on a no-bond bench warrant from the Sixth Judicial District Court for failure to comply with probation conditions. His original charges from October 23, 2024, include violation of a restraining order prohibiting domestic violence, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
  • Chad Lynn Kuhn, age 41, of Deming, was arrested on June 20, 2025. He faces two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a no-bond bench warrant from Deming Magistrate Court for failure to comply with conditions of release. The original charge was criminal trespass on April 29, 2025.
  • Javier T. Perez, age 34, of Deming, was arrested on June 20, 2025. Charges include resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer and a no-bond warrant from the Sixth Judicial District Court for probation violations. The original charge, dated June 23, 2024, was felony possession of a controlled substance.
  • Sarah Denise Soria, age 40, of Mesilla Park, was arrested on June 21, 2025. She is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and was also booked on a Dona Ana County Magistrate Court bench warrant for failure to pay fines related to a prior case of driving while license revoked and no driver’s license.
  • Anthony William Close, age 18, of Deming, was arrested on June 21, 2025. He is charged with aggravated fleeing a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana (18–20-year-old classification), and reckless driving.
