DEMING – The Deming City Council has announced a special closed session meeting to be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at City Hall, located at 1275 E. Pine Street.
The meeting will convene in accordance with NMSA 1978, 10-15-(H)(2) to discuss limited personnel matters regarding the work performance of the City Clerk. Additionally, the council will meet pursuant to NMSA 1978, 10-15-(H)(7) to discuss threatened or pending litigation tied to EEOC Charge No. 453-2025-01115, filed as Valdez vs. City of Deming.
The session will take place in the City Council Chambers and will also be available for virtual attendance via GoToMeeting. The public may join at https://meet.goto.com/CityofDeming or by phone at 1-866-899-4679, using access code 595-334-189.
