DEMING – The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair is just around the corner, and the exhibit barn is ready to showcase your creativity. From October 1st through the 5th, the fair in Deming is welcoming local artists, gardeners, bakers, photographers, and crafters to display their work.
Fair officials told Deming Radio News that there’s so much talent in our community, and they would love to display it. If you created it or grew it, there’s probably a category for it.
There are youth and adult divisions for just about everything—from vegetables to quilts, ceramics to homemade soap, artwork, metalwork, baked goods, and more.
The cost to enter is just one dollar per item, and premiums will be awarded to the top three winners in each category.
