DEMING – A series of weekend arrests were reported by the Deming Police Department and documented in records from the Luna County Detention Center, covering incidents from July 25 through July 27, 2025.
Erica Renee Huerta, age 32 of Albuquerque, was booked on July 27. She faces charges of Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer, Concealing Identity, and Battery.
Irene Huerta, age 39 of Deming, was booked on July 27. She faces charges of Aggravated Fleeing from a Law Enforcement Officer and Aggravated DWI.
Nathan Guillen, age 21 of Deming, was booked in the early hours of July 28. He is charged with Criminal Damage to Property of a Household Member.
Kathy Chavez, age 45 of Deming, was booked on July 27. She was held on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of the Court.
Jay Jennifer Ann Hughy, age 50, was booked on July 27. She was held on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for Failure to Appear.
Jorge Ramirez, age 32 of Deming, was booked on July 25. He is charged with a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for Failure to Appear, Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer, and Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer.
Rudy Munoz, age 64 of Deming, was booked on July 26. He is charged with Unlawful Use of a License.
Matthew Harry Skinner, age 22 of Columbus, was booked on July 26. He was held on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for Failure to Appear.
Carlos Ransdell, age 31, was booked on July 25. He was held on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of the Court.
All individuals were booked at the Luna County Detention Center. Charges were current as of the morning of July 28, 2025. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
