Deming City Council to Hear Presentations, Consider Job Post and Fiscal Inventory

DEMING – The Deming City Council will meet tomorrow, Aug. 19, at 5:30 p.m. at 1275 E. Pine Street.

The agenda includes approval of July meeting minutes, a proclamation naming September as Attendance Awareness Month, and presentations by Julie Wormald of the Youth Arts Foundation and Richard Holguin on Little League.

Councilors will also consider approval of a job description for Customer Service/Meter Reader and Repairman II, ratification of the city’s fiscal year 2025 physical inventory, and a funding request for Deming Pride.

The meeting will feature the city manager’s report, followed by a closed session to discuss the purchase, acquisition, or disposal of real property or water rights.
