DEMING – The Luna County DWI Planning Council will meet this Wednesday, August 20, at noon at La Fonda Restaurant. The agenda includes the application process for LDWI Special Application Funds, which are designed to fill gaps and address unmet needs in existing programs and services.
DWI Program Director Edith Vazquez said the funding is an important tool to help reduce drunk driving, underage drinking, and alcohol misuse in the community.
The meeting is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend and share ideas.
