DEMING – Tadum Jacquez, 10, is representing Bataan Elementary in the Junior Princess category at the Southwestern New Mexico State Fair.
Tadum loves playing softball and spending time watching her favorite show, Bluey on PBS. She looks up to her favorite teacher, Miss Gray, and is proud of her perfect attendance last year—something she is working hard to achieve again this school year.
At home, Tadum enjoys caring for her outside cats and helping her family on their cattle ranch west of town.
She is especially excited about going deer hunting with her family for the first time in the Gila Wilderness.
The Southwestern New Mexico State Fair takes place October 1–5 at the fairgrounds in the Deming Industrial Park.
