DEMING – The Governing Council of Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School will hold its regular monthly board meeting Tuesday, October 14, at 6 p.m. in Room 14 of the school, located at 315 East First Street in Deming. The meeting will also be accessible to the public via Zoom.
The agenda includes several discussion and action items, among them a presentation from the Coalition Against Teens Using Substances, a report on community school food distribution, and consideration of a new governing council member. Members are also expected to take action on contracts for psychological services, approval of a grant, and the purchase of instructional materials titled “Progress & Learners,” as well as laptops for students.
Committee reports will be presented on audit, finance, school planning and academics, equity council, and council development. Public comments will be accepted at the start of the meeting, limited to 15 minutes total.
The next regular meeting is scheduled for November 11 at 6 p.m., also in Room 14 at Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School.
