DEMING – Luna County is inviting local job seekers to a hiring event scheduled for Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mimbres Valley Learning Center, located at 2300 E. Pine Street. The event will provide an opportunity to apply and interview on-site for several county positions, including detention officer, camera monitor, and dispatcher roles within county public safety departments.
Attendees must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license and either a high school diploma or GED. Those who complete an interview will be entered into a raffle for a 55-inch television. Free food will be available while supplies last.
County officials encourage community members interested in public service careers to attend and learn more about working with Luna County.
