Community Invited to Engage at Dec. 9 “Connect with the Superintendent” Forum

DEMING – Deming Public Schools will host a community “Connect with the Superintendent” session on Tuesday, December 9th at 9 a.m. at Deming High School. Superintendent Wohlgemuth will open the meeting, followed by a series of district updates and presentations.

The agenda includes a DHS safety update from Benny Jasso, as well as a federal programs report from Armando Chavez covering Title I allocations and dual-language initiatives. Attendance coordinator Andrea Chavez will discuss the district’s attendance plan, current data, and recent attendance celebrations. Andrew Wyman will present the latest VISTAS data, and additional district updates will be provided before the meeting concludes with a public question-and-answer segment.

The event is open to families and community members who want to learn more about ongoing programs and student support efforts throughout the district.
