DEMING – The Luna County Extension Service will hold its final pesticide training program of the year on Friday, December 19th. The session will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Extension Office, located at 210 B Poplar Street across from Courthouse Park.
Extension Agent Jack Blandford told KDEM News that the training qualifies for 5 CEUs and will feature five different speakers addressing key agricultural topics, including weed management and the latest information on the new world screwworm. The program is open to both commercial and public applicators.
