DEMING — The Friends of Rockhound State Park are inviting the community to attend the 2025 Rockhound Luminaria event, scheduled for Saturday, December 13, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rockhound State Park Visitor Center.
The annual event will feature a nighttime display of approximately 1,100 luminarias illuminating the park grounds, creating a festive and scenic holiday atmosphere. Organizers say the event is designed as a family-friendly evening that celebrates community, tradition, and the beauty of the park after dark.
According to event details, guests can enjoy complimentary hot apple cider and Concha’s well-known biscochito cookies. A visit from Santa is also planned, along with a Toys for Tots drop-off box for those who wish to donate new, unwrapped toys.
The event is free and open to the public. Friends of Rockhound State Park encourage residents and visitors alike to bring friends and family and enjoy the luminaria display while supporting community holiday giving efforts.
