DEMING — Luna County residents will have an opportunity to gain potentially life-saving skills later this month during a free CPR training event hosted by the Luna County Health Council in partnership with NMHealth.
The CPR training is scheduled for Monday, December 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Luna County Courthouse, located at 700 South Silver Avenue in Deming. The event is open to the public, but space is limited and advance registration is required.
Organizers say the training is designed to equip participants with essential cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills that can be used in emergency situations at home, at work, or in the community. CPR training is often credited with saving lives by allowing bystanders to respond quickly during cardiac or breathing emergencies before first responders arrive.
Registration for the event is being handled online through a QR code provided on the event flyer. Those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible due to limited space.
For additional information or assistance with registration, participants can call or text 575-694-5263 or email [email protected].
The Luna County Health Council and NMHealth emphasize that community training events like this play an important role in improving public safety and preparedness across Luna County.
