DEMING – Work continues on the US 180 Signalization Project along Gold Street, also known as North Gold Street, at the intersections of Railroad, Pine, Cedar and Ash streets in Deming.
RT Electric, Inc., the project contractor, is continuing installation of new traffic signalization, curb and gutter, ADA-compliant ramps, median curbs, roadway signage, and striping. Shoulder work and lane closures will be in place to ensure the safety of both work crews and the traveling public. Additional lane closures are expected along Pine Street at the Gold Street intersection, and sidewalk closures should also be anticipated.
Construction hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area. The project is expected to be completed by January 2026.
