DEMING – The City of Deming’s newly elected officials from the November municipal election were officially sworn into office this morning during a ceremony held at Deming’s City Hall.
Laura Parra, representing District 2, Cathrine Gutierrez, representing District 3, and Edgar Davalos, elected Municipal Judge, each took the oath of office at 9 a.m.
The swearing-in ceremony was administered by City Clerk Karen Reed and marked the formal start of the officials’ new terms following the November election.
