DEMING — The Deming Public Schools Board of Education has rescheduled its regularly scheduled January meeting.
According to a public notice issued by the district, the board meeting originally set for Thursday, January 15, 2026, will now be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Emmett Shockley Administration Building, 400 Cody Road in Deming. The meeting will take place at the board’s regularly scheduled time. Legal Notice 1.6.25
District officials noted that during the meeting, the Board of Education may convene in a closed executive session to discuss limited personnel matters, as permitted under Section 10-15-1(H)(2) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.
