DEMING – The governing council of Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School will hold its regular board meeting Tuesday evening, January 13, at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place in Room 14 at the school and will also be accessible via Zoom.
Board members are scheduled to consider several action items, including approval of budget adjustments, student and staff handbooks, and a resolution naming authorized bank signatories for the 2025–2026 school year. The council is also expected to elect officers and administer the oath of commitment.
Additional discussion items on the agenda include a report on the Community School Food Distribution program. The board will also review and consider approval of meeting minutes from December 16, 2025.
Public comment will be accepted during a limited public forum, with a total time allotment of 15 minutes.
The meeting will conclude with a board evaluation and discussion of scheduling and agenda topics for future meetings. The next regular governing council meeting is scheduled for February 10 at 6 p.m., also in Room 14 at Deming Cesar Chavez Charter High School.
