DEMING – Keep Luna County Beautiful, in partnership with the Greatest American Cleanup, is preparing for a community-wide cleanup event later this spring as part of the celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
Organizers are inviting local businesses, organizations, and community members to get involved by volunteering their time or donating items that can be given away during the cleanup event. The effort is aimed at bringing the community together while helping improve and beautify Deming and the surrounding areas.
The event will begin and end at Luna County Courthouse Park, where participants will gather before heading out to designated cleanup locations. Activities at the park will include music and community engagement, with John Krehbiel of Bravo Mic Communications’ KDEM-FM and KOTS-AM providing music for the event.
