DEMING – Residents and business owners in Deming are invited to attend an upcoming public meeting on the NM 11 Corridor Study, where they can learn about the project and provide input on proposed alternatives.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Mimbres Valley Public Events Center, located at 2300 East Pine Street.

According to organizers, the session will focus on Phase 1A of the study, which includes preliminary alternatives for improving the NM 11 corridor. The project team will be available to explain the study process and answer questions from the public.

Community input is being encouraged as part of the planning process, with residents and local businesses invited to share feedback that could help shape future improvements along the corridor.

The NM 11 Corridor Study examines transportation needs and potential enhancements between Deming and the U.S.-Mexico border near Columbus, an area considered vital for regional travel and commerce.
