Petra Reynoso, 69, a resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM.
Petra was born on June 4, 1955 in El Sauz, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose De La Luz Garcia and Bertha Alicia Armenta.
She is survived by her husband Tomas Reynoso Hernandez; two sons, Jose Rafael Verdugo and Jose De La Luz Verdugo; six daughters, Julie Duran, M. Cristina Vasquez and her husband Felipe, Marine Verdugo, Concha Verdugo, Maria Isabel Martinez and her husband David and Mercedes Verdugo and her husband Hector Casas; one brother, Jesus Manuel Armenta and his wife Maria Hernandez; one daughter in law, Cecilia Garcia; twenty-nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; three sons, Jose Rafael Verdugo, Jesus Jose Garcia and Salvador Verdugo and one brother, Jorge Armenta.
An over night wake will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 beginning at 4pm at 712 S. 10th St. Deming, NM 88030 with the holy rosary beginning at 7pm with Elias Anchieta officiating. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 11am at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Francis Gyau officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Vasquez, Daniel Duran, Esmeralda Roman, Destiny Lorenzo, Maria Verdugo, Mercedes Verdugo, Jesus Manuel Armenta and Hector Jurado.
