Martha Aguirre Garcia, 79, a resident of Deming, NM went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her residence with her family by her side.
Martha was born on August 13, 1945 in Silver City, NM to Juan Aguirre and Manuela Molinar. She touched so many lives-her pride and joy were her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and spending time with her children. Her door was always opened and welcomed everyone. She was very devoted to the Catholic faith and enjoyed attending church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Augustine Arrey Garcia; One daughter Debbie G. Hamilton (Jason) of Deming four sons, Vicente A. Baeza (Anita)of Phoenix, AZ; Paul Garcia (Rosario), Jimmy Garcia (Michelle) and Tommy Garcia (Liza) of Deming, NM. Two brothers, Juan M. Aguirre of Bayard, NM and Manuel M. Aguirre and his wife Corina of Bayard, NM; three sisters, Elena A. Milo of Deming, NM; Julia A. Villalobos and her husband Benito of Bayard, NM and Olivia Aguirre of Santa Clara, NM; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents; two brothers, David M. Aguirre and Joe M. Aguirre; seven sisters, Carmen Torres, Jesusita Aguirre, Lupe Baeza, Martha Aguirre, Francis Luera, Jesus Aguirre and Baby Aguirre.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9-10am with the holy rosary beginning at 10am with Patsy Leyba officiating at Holy Family Catholic Church. Funeral mass will then begin at 11am with Father Prakasham Babu officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Fabian Garcia, Eduardo Ramirez, Ryan Garcia, Paul Garcia, Thomas Nascimento and Cody Garcia.
Honorary pallbearers are Stephanie Nascimento, Kristina Tucker, Ashley Ramirez, Kimberly Ramirez, Blair Baeza, Hailey Arrington, Alyssa Garcia, Anita Chacon, Jessica Portillo, Madison Grimley and Mackenzie Erin Allan.
