DEMING – The Deming Police Department is investigating the theft of nine road signs reported missing over the weekend from the intersection of 8th Street and Florida. The signs, which had various values, were taken from a construction zone where DEI Construction was conducting roadwork. The signage was intended to guide travelers safely through the area during the ongoing construction.
Authorities urge anyone with information on the missing signs to contact Crimestoppers at 575-546-7800 or visit P2Tips.com. Tips can be made anonymously, and law enforcement hopes the public can help in recovering the stolen signs.
