DEMING – The City of Deming will hold its first meeting of 2025 tomorrow at 10 a.m. at City Hall, located at 1275 East Pine Street. The meeting will be brief, as the board will focus solely on approving the sale of General Obligation Bonds.
Voters approved a $5 million bond measure in 2022 with an overwhelming 73% of the vote. The funds are designated for critical street repairs and replacing aging streetlights. At this time, the city plans to sell $2.5 million of the bonds to begin addressing these needs.
