DEMING – The Deming Police Department and Luna County Detention Center have released the following information regarding arrests and detentions. All persons mentioned in today’s report are to be considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Ashley Marie Lucero, 38, was arrested on January 28, 2025, at 4:05 a.m. She is being held on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a 6th District Court warrant for failure to comply and failure to appear.
Mark William Maroney, 65, was taken into custody on January 27, 2025, at 6:55 p.m. He is being held for failure to pay fines per a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant issued earlier that day.
Joaquin Alonzo Widmar, 22, was booked on January 27, 2025, at 11:17 a.m. under a bench warrant from the Luna County Magistrate Court for failure to appear.
