Billy Neal Hogan, 87, a resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at his residence.
Billy was born on March 28, 1937 in Jerome, AZ to Welby Hogan and Eunice (Malone) Hogan.
He is survived by four sons, Rick Hogan and his wife Julie of AZ; Scott Hogan and his wife Kum of CO; James Hogan and his wife Karen of AZ and Clint Hogan and his wife Jaime of NM; two daughters, Jacqueline Salazar and her husband Pablo of NM and Michele Hogan of AZ; two sisters, Lavinia Middleton of AZ and Esther Gallagher of AZ; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; widowed by Kay Hogan and Lin Hogan; one son, Brett Hogan; two brothers, Lee Hogan and Derrel Hogan; two sisters, Rosetta Woods and Dorothy Hogan; and three grandchildren, Clay Hogan, Jocelyn Hogan and Michael Webster
Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 10-11am at Deming First Assembly of God Church. Funeral service will then begin at 11am with Pastor David Duffy officiating. Cremation will then take place at Terrazas Crematory and an inurnment will take place at Fort Bayard National Cemetery at a later date.
Serving as pallbearers are Billy Hogan, Joey Perez, Paul Salazar, Jesse Hogan, Zachary Salazar and Matt Hogan. Honorary pallbearers are Derek Hogan, Nick Renteria, Billy Hogan, Lucas Hogan, Samuel Berry, Dominic Miranda and Jakob Hogan
