Gilberto Estrada Tapia, 92, a lifelong resident of Deming, NM entered eternal rest on Friday, March 28, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.
Gilberto was born on March 16, 1933 to Teofilo Tapia and Seferina (Estrada) Tapia.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Pacheco Tapia of Deming, NM; three sons, Antonio Tapia and his wife Olga of Deming, NM; Albert Tapia and his wife Maria of Gilbert, AZ and Gilbert Tapia of Laveen, AZ; one daughter, Sally Ann Natalino and her husband Anthony of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; one daughter, Mary Lou Tapia and three brothers, Cruz Tapia, Lencho Tapia and Arturo Tapia.
*Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 10am-11am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Funeral mass will then begin at 11:30am at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Frances Gyau officiating. Concluding services with an interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Tony Tapia Jr., Daniel Tapia, Adam Tapia, Ezell Tapia, Luke Isaiah Tapia and Valeria Tapia.
