DEMING – Despite blustery, cold conditions cutting the day short, families from across southern New Mexico showed up in large numbers to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Springfest at Young Park in Las Cruces on Saturday.
Presented by Bravo Mic Communications and the City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department, the family-friendly event ran from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a packed park full of children, games, food trucks, the Easter Bunny and smiles — even as strong winds forced an early wrap-up.
Bravo Mic Communications issued a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made the day possible:
“We are incredibly grateful to all the families who came out, the vendors and activity leaders who gave their time and energy, and our amazing Bravo Mic family of employees who helped put it all together,” organizers said.
A very special thank-you was extended to the event’s sponsors who helped continue this beloved tradition:
- GECU
- Memorial Medical Center
- MECA Therapies LLC
- Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
- Children’s Dental Clinic
- Southwest Heritage Bank
- Bravo Chevrolet-Cadillac of Las Cruces
Even with just a few hours of activities, Springfest brought joy and community spirit to thousands — proving once again that some traditions can’t be stopped by the weather.
