DEMING – Tonight marks a celebration of excellence in Luna County as the Deming/Luna County Chamber of Commerce gears up for their annual Kingdom of the Sun Awards Ceremony. Held at the picturesque D.H. Lescombes Winery located at 7075 NM-549, the event promises an evening of recognition and appreciation.
From 5:30 to 7:30, attendees will be treated to light refreshments as they gather to honor the outstanding contributions of local businesses and individuals. Chamber President Greg Morrow expressed his excitement, noting that this year saw unprecedented participation with a total of 5,113 votes cast across 20 categories.
Among the categories up for acknowledgment are Best Customer Service, Most Resilient Business, Best Workplace of 2024, and Best Non-profit of 2024. Morrow emphasized the significance of these awards, highlighting their role in celebrating the dedication and commitment of the Luna County community.
