Local Arrest Report for Tuesday May 13, 2025

DEMING – The following arrests were reported by the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Sean Chesser, 37, was taken into custody by the Adult Probation and Parole Department for alleged probation and parole violations.

Angel Leyva-Sotelo, 27, of Columbus, was arrested for receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle and tampering with evidence.

Lazario Rodriguez, 40, was picked up on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for failure to comply with court orders.

Gustavo Casas, 46, faces charges of battery against a household member and was also arrested on two Doña Ana County Magistrate Court warrants, both for failure to appear.

Jose Lujan, 31, was jailed on two Luna County Magistrate Court warrants for failure to pay fines.

Trevor Richardson, 28, was arrested on an unknown agency warrant for failure to appear.

David Marfil, 52, was charged with aggravated DWI, aggravated fleeing from a law enforcement officer, and resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer.

Marie Lucero, 39, was arrested on a 6th Judicial District Court warrant for failure to comply with court conditions.

Carlos Jesus Pena, 35, was taken in on a Deming Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.

Daniel Maldonado, 29, was booked on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for failure to appear.

Alexis Perez, 20, was arrested on a Deming Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.

Uziel Carrillo, 34, was picked up on an unknown court warrant for failure to appear.

Robert Laney, 46, was arrested for criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Kimberly Gaco, 42, faces two counts of forgery and a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Benjamin Gutierrez, 29, was arrested for aggravated burglary, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant from Probation and Parole for violating conditions of release.

George Gutierrez, 61, was taken into custody for two counts of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, and battery on a peace officer.
