Deming – Luna County Clerk Barbara DeLaney is encouraging potential candidates for the upcoming 2025 Regular Local Election to take advantage of virtual training opportunities being offered by the New Mexico Secretary of State’s Office.
The online training will guide interested individuals through the steps required to run for office, including how to qualify for the ballot, file necessary campaign reports, and work with the Secretary of State’s Office throughout the election cycle.
Two training sessions are available, offering the same material on different dates to accommodate various schedules:
- Monday, July 29 at 11:00 AM
- Wednesday, August 7 at 1:00 PM
Participants must RSVP in advance by emailing BC Nguyen at [email protected]. Once registered, attendees will receive the training link by email in July.
