DEMING – MainStreet, the Deming-Luna County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Deming, and Keep Luna County Beautiful are teaming up for a community cleanup in preparation for the upcoming Great American Duck Race.
The “Beautify Deming Clean-Up Day” invites community members and businesses to help spruce up the city ahead of the popular annual event. Cleanup focus areas include:
- Poplar Street – South side of the courthouse
- Gold Avenue – From Baca’s Funeral Home to Pine Street
- Silver Avenue – From the courthouse to Pine Street
Organizers are also encouraging all businesses to take time to clean their storefronts, sweep sidewalks, and make windows shine.
Cleanup dates are set for August 14, 15, and 18, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated.
