DEMING – The City of Deming has announced that there will be no trash collection on Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. According to Universal Waste Systems, all weekly garbage routes will be pushed back one day from their regular schedule due to the holiday.
Residents are asked to place their polycarts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. the day after their normal pickup day.
In addition, the Deming/Luna County Transfer Station will be closed on Labor Day and will reopen on Tuesday, September 2 at 8:30 a.m.
Universal Waste Systems, Inc. extended their best wishes for a safe Labor Day holiday to residents across Deming and Luna County.
