DEMING — A local middle school student is being recognized for her creative contribution to this year’s elections following a countywide design contest.
Audrey Herrera, an eighth grader at Red Mountain Middle School, was named the winner of the Luna County “I Voted” sticker contest. As part of her award, Audrey received a pizza party for her class and a $25 Amazon gift card.
Her winning sticker design will be distributed to voters during both the Primary and General Elections this year, allowing residents across the county to share in her artwork when they cast their ballots.
