Free CPR Training Class Fills Up in Deming, Community Response Strong

DEMING – A free community CPR training class scheduled for February 11 at the Luna County Courthouse has officially reached full capacity, highlighting strong local interest in lifesaving skills across Deming and Luna County. The event is being hosted by the Luna County Health Council in partnership with NMHealth’s Office of Border Health.

Organizers announced that the daylong training will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the courthouse, located at 700 South Silver Avenue in Deming. The class was offered at no cost, with limited space available and advance registration required, leading to the rapid fill-up.

The Health Council extended thanks to community members for their enthusiastic response and continued interest in public health education. Those who were unable to secure a spot are encouraged to watch for future CPR and first aid training opportunities expected to be announced later in the year.

For additional information or to be notified about upcoming classes, residents can contact the Luna County Health Council by calling or texting 575-694-5263 or emailing [email protected].
