Deming Schools Officials Report Productive Santa Fe Legislative Visit
DEMING — Deming Public Schools officials were in Santa Fe last week during the 30-day New Mexico Legislative Session, representing the district’s priorities and offering input on education-related legislation currently under consideration.
John Krehbiel spoke with Charles Turner, Government Affairs Coordinator for Deming Public Schools, who said the trip was productive. Turner explained that the 30-day session, which began at noon on January 20, focuses primarily on financial matters.
