DEMING — The Deming City Council will hold its next regular meeting Tuesday, February 17, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will take place at City Hall, located at 1275 East Pine Street, and will also be accessible virtually for members of the public who wish to attend online or by phone.
According to the published agenda, councilors will consider a consent agenda that includes approval of minutes from the January 20 regular City Council meeting and the February 9 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, as well as a request for records destruction with a memo correction.
Several resolutions are scheduled for consideration, including measures declaring the City of Deming’s eligibility and intent to submit grant applications to the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s Transportation Project Fund, the Local Government Road Fund, and the Municipal Arterial Project Fund.
The agenda also includes public input, with residents allowed up to three minutes each to address the council, followed by a presentation from Desert Southwest Pipeline. Additional items include a resolution for condemnation of property located at 801 North Gold Street, reports from the Community Services Department and Deming Police Department, and the city manager’s report.
The meeting will conclude with adjournment. The next regular City Council meeting is scheduled for March 17, 2026, at 5:30 p.m.
