DEMING – Families in Deming will soon have a place to cool off as the Amistad Splash Pad prepares to reopen for the season beginning Saturday, April 4.
According to a public service announcement from the City of Deming, the splash pad will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting April 4, 2026. The city also announced that party rentals will be available on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Community members interested in reserving the facility for parties or special events can contact the Community Services Department at 575-546-8848 for rental information.
City officials also noted that weekday access to the splash pad will be limited during the early part of the season. From Monday through Friday, the Amistad Splash Pad will only be available to Deming Public Schools for field trips until May 28, 2026.
The Amistad Splash Pad is a popular warm-weather attraction for local families, offering water features and a safe place for children to play during the summer months.
