Deming Police Seek Public’s Help in Fatal Hit-and-Run Investigation

DEMING – The Deming Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as investigators continue working to identify the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred earlier this year.

According to a media release issued by the department, the incident happened Friday, January 23, 2026, shortly after 7:00 p.m. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Railroad Boulevard just east of Gold Street.
