DEMING – The Deming Arts Center will host the annual Luna County Fine Arts and Crafts Show throughout the month of May, featuring artwork from local artists and crafters across the region.
The exhibit will run from May 2 through May 29, 2026, and will showcase a wide range of artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, fiber arts, jewelry, and other handcrafted works created by residents of Luna County. Organizers say the event highlights the creativity and talent of the local arts community while providing an opportunity for the public to experience diverse forms of visual art.
Artists participating in the show may submit up to three pieces of artwork, and organizers note that Western-themed creations are also encouraged as the exhibit coincides with Luna County Western Heritage Days activities taking place during the same month.
In addition to viewing the artwork, community members will have an opportunity to meet participating artists during a special opening reception scheduled for Sunday, May 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Deming Arts Center, located at 100 South Gold Avenue.
Admission to the exhibit is free to the public, and the Deming Arts Center is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
