Arrests and Property Damage Cases Reported in Deming as Police Continue Investigations

DEMING – Multiple arrests reported in Deming over the past several days include a range of charges from assault and property crimes to drug-related offenses, according to information provided by the Deming Police Department and the Luna County Detention Center. All persons mentioned are innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.

Authorities report that on April 27, several individuals were taken into custody on various charges. Christina Bravo-Ortiz, 30, was arrested on charges including battery upon a peace officer, indecent exposure, and resisting, evading, or obstructing an officer.

Rhonda Miller, 40, faces charges of concealing identity, interference with officers, and prowling, while Mary Perez, 50, was charged with criminal damage to property and concealing identity.

Fernando Grado, 63, was arrested on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

In a separate case, Monica Bravo, 38, was arrested on charges of receiving or transferring a stolen vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On April 30, Timothy Young, 44, was arrested on a Luna County Magistrate Court warrant that includes multiple counts of assault with intent to commit a violent felony, as well as shooting at or from a motor vehicle.

Police also reported a case of criminal damage to property at Lost Arts Therapeutics, where a gate was damaged during a forced entry. The damage is estimated at approximately $500.
