DEMING – The restrooms located near the All-Inclusive Park at Trees Lake have once again been vandalized. The facilities have suffered extensive graffiti and damage, including the repeated removal of sink drains. The City of Deming is urging the community to assist in reporting these acts of vandalism and to help protect the public spaces that everyone enjoys.
City officials expressed frustration over the recurring damage, noting the significant costs and resources required for repairs. It is disheartening to see these public amenities being targeted, especially since these restrooms are essential for visitors, particularly families with young children and individuals with disabilities.
The City of Deming is considering implementing increased security measures, such as surveillance cameras and increased patrols, to deter future vandalism. However, they emphasize that community vigilance is crucial.
If you have any information regarding the vandalism of the restrooms, please contact local law enforcement or Crime Stoppers at 575-546-7200 or online at P3Tips.com.
